Load interpolated temperature data for a specific vegetation period

• Germany-wide temperature data are provided by the German Weather Service. For this application, data of each single year are stored in a csv-file, which is related to a polygon shape file representing a Germany-wide weather grid:
  • Column 1: GRID_ID of WEATHER_GRID_EPSG31467.shp
  • Columns 2-367: Daily temperatures [°C x 10]
• For summer crops, the year-specific temperatures are extracted. Winter crops also consider the temperatures of the previous year.

Parameters

• PHASE.STATION -> result from function fPhaseStation
• IN.DIR -> directory with csv-files of year-specific daily temperatures
• PARAMETER = csv-file prefix
• YEAR -> year of observation

Output

Data frame with weather grid ID and temperatures related to a vegetation period

• GRID_ID: raster cell ID related to a Germany-wide weather grid
• T[1:365]: daily temperatures [°C x 10] of the year of harvest
• T[-X:-1] (only for winter crops): daily temperatures [°C x 10] of the year of sowing (-X=DOY-365)
