The add information pull down menu provides several strategies to track and then add information to the lexicon to fill in gaps in the lexical data. These strategies include the following:

  • Add meanings - This strategy looks for words that have no meanings and then presents the user with this filtered list of words so they can add meanings to each of the “undefined’ words
  • Add grammatical usage - This strategy looks for works that have no grammatical category and then presents the user with this filtered list of words so they can add grammatical categories to words that are not in a category
  • Add examples - This strategy looks for meanings without example sentences and then presents the user with this filtered list of meanings so they can add example sentences to meanings that do not have one.
