The two main core environment of the game should be a simple level system, the case of this game levels would be dungeons. A dungeon is composed of many interlinked screen & areas sharing a similar theme. For instance a cemetery/crypt based dungeon should include a gloomy atmosphere, tombstones, ghosts and low tempo/depressive music. Another example of a dungeon could be the classic ice based dungeon, including game mechanic such as slippery floors, enemies that are commonly weak to fire, cyborgs zombie polar bear mutants and high pitched soothing music.
