GD Storyline WIP
The main story arc express the “main quest” of the game, basically it’s the plot line from point A to B of the adventure. This plot line is filled with interstices and other story arcs but all these other arcs should only be furthering the narrative progress towards said point “B”.
Background story and unnamed student awake himself from what seems to be a cryogenically induced sleep, the room is very dark and only a few lights are showing a pathway to exit the room. Our unnamed hero find himself alone in a bunker like underground complex, the bunker AI Mermaid introduce herself as a benevolent and motherly figure and plead for help: The autonomous power facility of the ARK is failing and you being randomly selected human survivor must exit into the world an reactivate 4 power units to restore her facilities. Mermaid explain that she was designed to restore the earth to it’s previous glory after an all out world war, her databanks are corrupted and the information she can give are limited, but the outside world is now populated by bio-engineered monsters, mechanical remnants of the old world and autonomous war machines still fighting for long dead masters.
She politely ask the hero to submit himself to a bioscan offer what little supplies/weapons and armor she has and send the hero on his merry way to the surface world at this point there is a bit of a surprise to note that the elevator to exit the base is a one way trip to the surface.
In a little and quaint temple some lizardmen (dino folks) venerate their gods and pray for a plentiful harvest when all of a sudden the board floor of the church begins to shake violently. seconds later the sound of metal clashing at tremendous speed against wood can be heard as the emergency surface elevator crash at full speed upwards causing catastrophic damage to the sacred grounds. Our intrepid hero as now made contact with the outside world and made himself a mortal and blasphemous enemy of the lizard folks. A brief fight ensue but upon exiting the area a large crowd gathered in front of the temple capture the hero. Upon being tra
