- Cooke et al., 2022 pdf discusses holistic admissions processes, specifically following the removal of a GRE requirement.
- Association of American Medical Colleges includes a useful overview of skills to evaluate in your letter. Specifically for medical school letters, but useful for all graduate letters.
- Equitable Practices for Writing, Reading, and Soliciting Letters of Recommendation Useful overview of how to frame and word the skills included in a graduate letter or recommendation.
- Schmader et al., 2007 paper and inspired blog post (not currently found) discuss biased language. The work also inspired an online calculator that can be used to scan for words with associations.
