1.2.4.1 Modflow Resources

Groundwater contamination is one of the most pervasive environmental problems and is a key problem in the fate and transport of contaminants. USGS MODFLOW is the preeminent groundwater model, we will use the 2005 build. Install Modflow first, then the GUI. Try to use the default program locations as this will make running the model easier.

Install Modflow, Model Muse, mt3dms, and mt3d-usgs. Unzip the first .zip file attached; there is another zipped file within the download, you may leave that zipped -- it is an archive, I just wanted to keep them together. Open the .gpb file in Model Muse and follow along with the tutorial video.
