Media: Embedded Map

Brief description

The "Embedded Map" media type is for embedding maps to the site from map services such as NationalMap. Any map service that provides an embed link can be used.

Detailed description

The "Embedded Map" media type consists of maps that are available to be embedded onto the content page throughout the White Label site.

To add new "Embedded Map" media:

• Go to Content → Media → Add Media → Embedded map

The embedded map has these fields:

• Name: Enter the media name.
• Image: Upload an image (recommended: a screenshot of the map). This image will be used as a thumbnail when browsing the media. It will not be displayed in the front end.
• URL: The URL of the map to be embedded. The map service should provide a "share" URL which should be used here.
• Aspect ratio: Set the aspect ratio of the map (width:height - recommended ratio is 4:3)
• Caption(optional)
• Accessible description (optional)

The map can be added to the content using the Component Media or embed the Media entity from the rich text editor.
