The "Document" media type is for adding documents to the site.
The "Document" media type consists of files or documents that are available throughout the White Label site. All documents uploaded to the site will be "registered" and they can be reused. This will ensure that the documents will be consistent across any pages that use them.
Further customisation of the "Document" media type can be done via "/admin/structure/media/manage/file".
