ref_iface_IVDXVideoSource_GetSampleBytePosition
VirtualDub Plugin SDK 1.2
IVDXVideoSource interface
Returns the approximate starting byte position of the sample in the underlying storage medium.
sint64 GetSampleBytePosition(sint64 sample_num);
| sample_num | Sample to query. |
This method is not thread-safe.
Errors may not be returned from this function (see SetError()).
Starting byte position of the sample data, or -1 if the byte position is not available.
This is used by the UI when the timeline display is customized to display the position of samples with the %B formatting specifier. It is OK if an implementation returns -1 for all samples, in which case N/A is displayed.
