IVDXInputDriver interface

IVDXInputDriver:: CreateInputFile

Creates an input file of the type managed by the input driver.

bool CreateInputFile(uint32 flags, IVDXInputFile **ppFile);

Parameters

flags	Flags to customize the input file object behavior. kFlagQuiet (0x00000001) Indicates that this object is being used as part of an automated process and dialogs should be avoided if possible.
ppFile	Pointer to variable to receive new input file object.

Thread safety

This method is not thread-safe.

Errors

Errors may not be returned from this function (see SetError()).

Return value

True if an input file object was created, or false if out of memory.

Remarks

The input file object should have an outstanding reference on it. VirtualDub will call IVDXUnknown::Release() for this reference when it is finished with the object.
