IVDXInputFile interface

IVDXInputFile:: Init

Opens a file with the given options.

void Init(const wchar_t *path, IVDXInputOptions *options);

Parameters

path	Path of file to be opened.
options	Options object with settings to customize the file open. This may be NULL.

Thread safety

This method is not thread-safe.

Errors

Errors may not be returned from this function (see SetError()).

Remarks

This method can only be called once per input file object; to open another file, another input object must be created.

Although usually hosts will detect non-existent file paths beforehand, this method must still handle file-not-found, access denied, and other errors that may occur during the file open.
