RVB Integration

Real Vehicle Breakdowns + UsedPlus = Complete lifecycle simulation

Overview

RVB (Real Vehicle Breakdowns) and UsedPlus create a two-layer malfunction system:

  • UsedPlus: Soft degradation (reliability decay, warnings, performance loss)
  • RVB: Hard failures (parts break, vehicle stops)

Together they simulate realistic equipment aging: new → used → worn → broken.


Division of Labor

System Handles Example
UsedPlus Gradual degradation Engine efficiency drops 100% → 75%
RVB Catastrophic failures Engine seizes, vehicle won't start

No overlap - RVB failures triggered by UsedPlus reliability thresholds.


DNA Integration

Vehicle-DNA affects both UsedPlus reliability AND RVB part lifespans:

Lemon 2.5x (very fast) 0.6x (40% shorter)

Lemons break catastrophically 3x faster than legendaries.


OBD Scanner Display

With integration enabled, OBD-Scanner shows both systems:

Tab 1: UsedPlus

  • Overall reliability %
  • System health
  • Active malfunctions
  • Repair options

Tab 2: RVB

  • Individual part conditions
  • Hours remaining per part
  • Impending failures
  • Replacement costs

Used Marketplace Integration

When buying used vehicles, RVB parts are pre-aged to match UsedPlus condition:

Example: 65% Reliability Tractor (800 hours)

  • UsedPlus: 800 hours, moderate wear
  • RVB parts auto-generated:
    • Engine: 60% lifespan remaining
    • Transmission: 62%
    • Alternator: 50%

Result: Used vehicles feel genuinely aged, not "new with lowered stat".


Settings

SettingsRVB Integration (ON/OFF, default ON)

When OFF:

  • Both mods work independently
  • DNA doesn't affect RVB
  • OBD shows only UsedPlus data
