Twitch Event Setup

The following requirements must be met in order to set up and use Twitch Events:
- The premium version of StreamingModule is required
- Installation must be complete, as well as the steps under “Setup”
- An affiliate or partner agreement with Twitch is required for most functions (events). This is because Twitch only unlocks the functions for these accounts. I have no influence on this. The requirements for this can be viewed in your own Twitch dashboard
- The streamer must already be listed among the streamers in StreamingModule (setup steps).
- The streamer goes to the “www.morelaid.com/streamingmodule/” page and obtains a Twitch oAuth token. For detailed steps, see (Example for “www.morelaid.com/streamingmodule/”)
Note: Do not show the token in your stream - Now the streamer must execute the command “/chatbot token [token from site]” in Minecraft. For example, “/chatbot token morelaid:jostpf5q0uzmxmkba9iyug38kjtgh”, but with your own token
- If the streamer now execute “/chatbot” the new bot name should appear in the menu. Then everything has worked and your own bot is active
- If the status is set to “Disabled,” the ModuleKey (for example, ?1234) from the streamer must be entered in the Twitch chat. The bot will respond with a message in the Twitch chat stating that it is now authorized to send messages (this is only necessary once) => step by step
- Click on the “Login with Twitch” button. This will redirect you to the Twitch oAuth service.
- Review the requested permissions and approve them. If you decline this step, you will unfortunately not be able to use your own bot.
- You will be redirected back to “www.morelaid.com/streamingmodule/” and receive your token. Click on “Show & Copy Token.” The token will be copied to your clipboard.
- Now you can continue with step 3 above (Setup)
