GlobalStreamerTag

The GlobalStreamerTag is intended to allow Twitch Drops to be awarded when the streamer is currently live but not actively playing on the server. This means that the streamer does not have to play “AFK” on the server or have Minecraft open in the background, but can stream something else. The category on the streaming platform is not queried. In Minecraft, the player is displayed as “Live”, e.g. displayed under “/online” or the live notification is sent.

Setup

The GlobalStreamerTag is stored in the Twitch tags. If the Twitch tag is available, drops can be assigned. If the tag is removed from the list of tags, the streamer must be actively playing on the server and be live. With the tag, it is sufficient just to be live.

Possible tags

  • StreamingModule
  • StreamingDrops

Example: GlobalStreamerTag example twitch.tv/Quimbly3

The premium version allows you to define your own tags per streamer.
