I joined the Discord. I joined Github. I met with my team.
I started researching and working on a small VR Project using Unity.
Met with professor and asked quesitons about project. Started designing screens for Milestone 5: Rough Design.
Worked on designing the app and working on a mock up in Unity.
Met with professor to get Oculus Go and set that up on my computer. Tried to set up a playable demo of the VR app on Unity.
Met with Vidal to go over app. Created navigation system using nodes, mapped out key functions, and worked on fleshing out the career center design.
Wrote architecture document and updated personal log.
Met with Vidal. Created Dorm Room template and tried to learn how to upload Unity stuff to github.
Met with Vidal. Sat down with Hung and learned how to set up and build app on to Rift.
Took rift home, finally got rift working with all of sdks and other things, and worked on teleportation and interaction scripts, cleaning up clutter from the prototyping phase, added to player script by adding additional functionality for processing oculus go controller raycasting, and uploaded and tested one of our 360 photos for the panoramic skybox.
I didn't do much due to Thanksgiving break.
Worked on fixing a tiny error with the game autoloading the dorm scene.
Met with group and helped build project for demo. I build a modular setup but we didn't use it for the final project as it was a bit complicated.
Met with group and presented. I brought an HDMI cable but thankfully we didn't have to use it. I helped demo the app. I really enjoyed all the presentations and I am really proud of everyone who presented.
