Moon

Lunargrade

A simple life form, derived from it's still existing ancestor, the tardigrade. This creature is believed to have come from a failed moon mission from Earth that failed to sterilize it's ship. It seems to have greatly increased in size due to an abundance of resources and lack of predators. Non-hostile, until attacked, in which case it will spit at the attacker.

Lunar Snail

A very docile life form that has no known predators, and an extremely slow metabolism. Produces a thick mucus to provide traction for movement, that can be collected to make slimeballs. A simple, passive way to harvest slime.

Lunar Eel

Small worm/eel creature that seems to stick to small, confined spaces. It seems to have a strange electrical ability that it doesn't tend to use. Further investigation required.

Mars

Echo Worm

A large, bulky bug, that contrary to the name, has legs. Completely lacks eyes, and is only able to see through the usage of echolocation of sounds produced by a strange inner jaw that makes loud clicks. Forms large nests that can have up to dozens of individuals nearby. Can be very deadly if not careful. Do not allow yourself to be heard when a group is near by, as if you are attacked/the worm is attacked the whole group will be alerted. However, it can be avoided through sneaking and clever usage of wool blocks. Eats Root-Toads.

Root Toad

Docile toad-like creature that wanders martian caves and is scared of people. If it encounters a person, it will run until it can find at least two other individuals of the same species. Otherwise, if it encounters a predator, they will simply run until either the predator eats them or they are left alone. Eats Martian roots, hence the name.

Cobra

A slender snake like being that wanders upper Martian caverns. Can become hostile if stared at for too long, as indicated by their distinctive hiss. Otherwise, it will stick to itself. Rarely seen in packs, and not very high damage.

Devil Moth

A strange bat-like creature with two antenna protruding from it's head. Tends to fly around caves searching for food. Can be spotted sleeping on cave roofs, or walking on the cave floor. Due to it's extremely long lifespan and gestation period, evolution is rather slow for this creature. It is also believed that it used to live on the surface before migrating underground due to some unknown apocalyptic Martian event. This is likely responsible for it's rather rich pigmentation when compared to other underground Martian life. Additionally, it still has it's antennae used for pollination as a remnant of before this apocalyptic event. Can be used to pollinate ancient Martian flora.

Venus

Note: Due to Venusian environments being rather hostile, it seems silicon based life took the spotlight over carbon based life.

Mimic

Ambush predators that disguise themselves as rocks in caverns. Can be rather easy to miss. The only consistent way to spot them is to learn what shapes caves tend to be and look for oddities. Has 2 known variants, depending on the depth it's found.

Scorpion

Hostile reptilian like creature that spits sulfuric acid at it's prey. The projectile can be blocked with a shield, though it will eat through durability rather quickly. It is preferable to simply dodge the attacks. Tends to stay in small groups of 3. Can be found in upper Venusian caves, but sometimes wanders further down.

Stone Bull

Large, scaly creature with two massive horns on it's head for self defense. Though it is a prey animal, it still remains rather hostile, and tends to throw itself as fast as it can at any perceived threat. Can be baited to throw itself into danger, e.g. lava pools.

Vulture

Scavenger animal that feasts on carcasses found on the Venusian surface. Circles around injured animals that may soon become it's food. Otherwise, a relatively friendly creature.

Mercury

Raptor

Highly intelligent, hostile reptilian creature that will attack the player on sight. Has the unique property of being able to open doors, and as such mercurian bases must be built with that in mind.

Tortoise

Docile, shelled reptilian that keeps to itself and not much else. Seems to have evolved a tough shell to protect itself from predators, though no animals have ever been observed preying on this animal. It's predator might have gone extinct.

Roach

Rather annoying bug-like creature that seems scared of humans. Tends to run to it's group when scared. Seems to enjoy mischief, and has been seen stealing food from other creatures. It has never been spotted directly harming any other creatures, however.
