Vision

Overview

Our robot this year, similar to last year, is using two Limelight cameras. One for cargo detection and one for AprilTag detection. All the vision data we use feeds into several commands for automatically collecting cargo and correcting our robot pose on the field.

Beyond these two uses, we don't use our Limelights for anything else, however, this may change in the future. At one point we had planned to have four Limelights on the robot, then it went down to three, and now down to two.
