Download the game

Download the game from the Releases.

Transfer the game to your calculator

Transfer the game to your calculator, and the way to do it depends on your model:

fx-9860GIII / fx-CG50

  1. Connect your calculator to your PC with a USB cable.
  2. Transfer the game to your calculator.
  3. Safely remove the calculator from your PC.

fx-9860GII

Via cable (FA-124)

  1. Open CASIO Worldwide Education Website.
  2. Select your preferred region and language.
  3. Click HANDHELD UPDATE at the upper-right corner.
  4. Scroll down, and click Graphing Models.
  5. Read the EULA, only proceed if you agree.
  6. Scroll down, find fx-9860GII.
  7. Find PC Link Software.
  8. Download FA-124.
  9. Read the user guide from CASIO and transfer the game to your calculator.

Via SD card

  1. Insert a SD card to your PC.
  2. Transfer the game to the SD card.
  3. Safely remove the SD card from your PC.
  4. Insert the SD card to your calculator.
  5. Copy the game from SD card to Storage Memory on your calculator.

Download beatmaps

  1. (Optional) Add a .zip extension to your downloaded beatmap.
  2. Extract this ZIP archive.
  3. There may be multiple beatmaps for the same song in the archive. So pick the one you like.

Malody is a paid shareware available from Steam. It won't be easy to download the beatmaps without buying the game.

Converting the beatmap to fxTap's format

Follow the guide in fxTap Adapter's Wiki.

After you got a beatmaps with an .fxt extension, send it to your calculator.

Play!

After you launched the game, fxTap will walk your file system automatically to find out all your beatmaps. Don't forget to adjust note falling speed, note size and key mapping in settings. You can find more about key mapping here.
