Persona #2: Susan Smith
The Lexington County School District would like to add in a special needs program into one of their elementary schools. The school district has hired Susan Smith as the instructor for their new program. Susan Smith is a forty-eight year old mother of three who has been working as a special education teacher for the past twelve years.
Susan Smith was released by the Rock Hill School District last year because they were ending the special education at Rock Hill Elementary where she was the instructor. With Susan's excellent resume and recommendations from Rock Hill School District, Lexington County jumped on the opportunity to hire her on for their new program.
Lexington County has now allocated a portion of the 2015 school year's budget for Susan to hire architects to renovate a classroom to abide by the ADA's standards in preparation for the new Special Education classroom. Susan now needs a simple way to let the renovators know what changes need to be made and what specifications are involved in those changes.
