If you have questions, it's possible that they have already been discussed on the forum threads.

Also please check the Do not suggest list: it's possible that your idea has already been brought up.

  • Dang It! is not compatible with Mission Controller 2. This is not a question but it's still true. These two mods can't be mixed. At all. It completely breaks everything related to SpareParts, for reasons that no one has understood yet.

  • Can failures occur on a ship I'm not flying? No, at this time only active vessels are affected by this mod. This limitation is due to how KSP works: once that a ship is outside the 2.5km physics bubble, it's safe forever (unless you fly back to it again).

  • Are unmanned probes affected? Yes: the reliability is a property of the parts, and it's not affected by the presence or the lack of crew members.

  • Where i can find settings? Mod settings live in [Esc] > Settings > Difficulty Options > Dang It!

  • How do I change alarm settings? There are 3 sliders in mod-settings, that allow you to configure number of loops to play for each priority. Set to 0 to disable for a priority, or to -1 to play until the failure is fixed.

  • How do I mute an alarm? Right click on the part that is causing it (highlighted in red) and select Mute Alarms
