Useful Mobile Apps

A list of mobile apps that might be useful for makers. If you add to the list, please be sure to summarise what the app does and which OS is supported.

Electronics

Resistors:

• Resistor Calculator (iOS) - simple util for decoding the colours, or working out colours for given resistance.
• Resistor CAL (iOS) - as above, but also has tools for working out values for parallel and series resistor circuits.
• Resistor Calculator (iOS) - as above but also has tool for working with Ohms' law

Component reference:

• eTools Pro (iOS) - resistors, capacitors, IC pinouts, common network cables, and loads of other stuff.
• Electronic Toolbox Pro (iOS) - similar to above, but there's also a hardware component available to turn it in to an oscilloscope?!
