World Happiness Analysis

The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of global happiness. Published annually by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, it ranks countries by how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be. This analysis explores the 2021 edition of the report, which provides happiness indexes for every country around the globe.

Objectives Of The Analysis

With the analysis of this data, we have a few objectives and matters that we'd like to investigate.

  • What are the patterns that make a country happy?
  • How do certain factors like GDP per capita, social support, etc, influence the happiness score of a country?
  • Which regions of the world are the happiest and why?
  • Does economic prosperity always make a country happy?
  • Are common perceptions regarding some countries' happiness true?
  • ... (more objectives to define)

Guide through the analysis

It is recommended to use a virtual environment to install all needed dependencies. Clone the repository by using

git clone https://github.com/zeke-code/World-Happiness-Analysis.git

Install requirements by using this command:

pip install -r requirements.txt

and simply navigate the Jupyter Notebook cell by cell. Each passage is described accurately by the code comments and markdowns.
