  • add optional CMake, especially helpful on Windows, but works for all platforms.
  • add adaptations for Visual Studio like compilers, including Intel oneAPI on Windows

For Visual Studio, SDL2 may be built separately by the user, or download and extract the *VC.zip from https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL_ttf/releases and https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL/releases.
