This repository documents the results of Pizzathon, an internal Zarrino hackathon with a full pizza-themed challenge.
Each team:
- Chose a pizza name
- Coded a visual pizza using any programming / graphics tools
- Designed the pizza name as Persian ASCII art
- Built fun branding & marketing around their fictional pizzeria
- Gave a final presentation of their work
Each team must choose a creative name for its own signature pizza.
This name is the foundation for all next steps: branding, design, marketing, and storytelling.
Scoring focus:
- Creativity and originality
- Meaning and concept
- Connection between the name, the team identity, and the pizza theme
Using any tool or programming language (for example: SVG, Canvas, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, Processing, C++ graphics libraries, etc.), each team must implement a visual pizza.
The final output must clearly look like a pizza.
It can be simple or complex, 2D or 3D, static or animated, realistic or abstract, cute, funny, glitchy—anything.
Scoring focus:
- Creativity in idea and visual style
- Code / implementation quality and cleanliness
- Innovation: motion, animation, unexpected details, interactivity
- Visual jokes, fun ideas, or conceptual humor related to the pizza
The pizza name chosen in Question 0 must be written in Persian using ASCII characters only.
You can shape letters, build patterns, or design a custom “ASCII logo” for your pizza name.
Scoring focus:
- Creativity in shaping the letters
- Readability and clarity of the output
- Structural ideas, patterns, layout
- Fun factor and humor in the design
Now imagine your team has opened a fictional pizzeria with the name you’ve chosen.
Each team should create fun, creative, and entertaining outputs that show the personality and identity of this brand.
Examples (at least a few items are required, but the exact mix is up to the team):
- A short brand slogan
- A simple logo (hand-drawn, digital, or even ASCII)
- A short intro text / “About us” for the pizzeria
- A fun ad (poster, tagline, caption, in-app banner concept, etc.)
- A creative product idea, e.g. a special pizza or menu item unique to this brand
- Any other output that expresses the brand personality and vibe
Scoring focus:
- Fun factor and how entertaining it is
- Creativity and humor
- Consistency between all outputs, pizza name, and team identity
Each team has 5 minutes to present their work to the judges and other teams:
- Introduce the team name
- Introduce the pizza name and its concept
- Show the coded pizza (Q1)
- Show the Persian ASCII art of the pizza name (Q2)
- Present the branding and marketing outputs (Q3)
- Explain the ideas, decisions, and collaboration inside the team
Scoring focus:
- Storytelling quality
- Energy, fun, and engagement during the presentation
- Coordination between team members and clarity of explanation
- Challenge implementation: 3 hours
- Team presentations: 5 minutes per team
These are the teams that participated in Pizzathon.
📝 Note:
- “Pizza Name” is plain text, not a link.
- For Questions 1–4, teams can later add markdown links to their work in this table
(e.g. GitHub repo, Figma file, demo, slide deck).
| # | Team Name | Pizza Name | Q1 – Coded Pizza | Q2 – Persian ASCII Name | Q3 – Branding & Marketing | Q4 – Final Presentation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | CheeseCode | - | link | link | link | link |
| 2 | Pepperoni | - | link | link | link | link |
| 3 | پیتزا بیار جهنم | - | link | link | link | link |
| 4 | π-zza | - | link | link | link | link |

| 6 | قاچ مسترز | - | link | link | link | link |

Teams can now edit this table and:
- Replace

[#]link placeholder with real URLs to their work
