Your project solved a problem for me, as I wanted to pass audio through from my USB record player to my studio speakers on the Mac. Thanks!
As part of getting things working on my system, I found changing the device names to be necessary. Thus, I made a couple of changes to make it easier for anyone to use this project on their own system.
I noticed the "BenQ" at least was hard coded in at least one more place, so it's possible if you like this idea you'll want to carry it through further. These changes were sufficient for your project to bridge my audio input to my audio output, so I left it at this.
