I'd find this feature useful; while testing a newly provisioned cluster I needed to pass auth user and password, but couldn't do so without checking out this PR and building against that. Just sharing a usecase 👍 |

Is there a way to connect to universes through basic auth? EDIT ah, maybe this is it & it’s already implemented? Added options --auth_user, --auth_password for authentication so that we can pass username/password to Cassandra
Added options --enableSSL, --ssl_truststore, ssl_truststorepassword so that we can pass JKS store and it's password to enable SSL/TLS connections to Cassandra
