We applied an open source toolkit called OpenFace on Github. It can track human face, do Head Pose Estimation, track Eye Gaze and do Facial Action Unit Recognition in real-time by a single RGB camera.
But it lacks a portable message system to send the tracked infomation to third party software to driver them do interesting things conveniently. OsPack is a simple open source implementation for OSC(open sound control). I integrate this library into OpenFace source code to enable it talk with other software supporting OSC.
When received these data, third party software, here we choose Processing which is a popular develop tool within the visual arts, does deeper computing and assemble those received data into new format to drive a 3D human head model in Autodesk Maya by MEL command.

Processing is a flexible software sketchbook and a language for learning how to code within the context of the visual arts. Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology. There are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning and prototyping.
Open Sound Control (OSC) is a protocol for networking sound synthesizers, computers, and other multimedia devices for purposes such as musical performance or show control. OSC's advantages include interoperability, accuracy, flexibility and enhanced organization and documentation. wiki
Autodesk Maya commonly shortened to Maya, is a 3D computer graphics software that runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, originally developed by Alias Systems Corporation (formerly Alias|Wavefront) and currently owned and developed by Autodesk, Inc. It is used to create interactive 3D applications, including video games, animated film, TV series, or visual effects.
