Crossing seas

DEPENDENCIES:

You might need to install some of these before running the game:

  Python 2.7 or 3.6:     https://www.python.org/
  PyGame:                https://www.pygame.org/
  PyOpenGL:              http://pyopengl.sourceforge.net/
  pyglet                 https://pyglet.org/
  PyWavefront            https://pypi.org/project/PyWavefront/
  numpy

You can run this command to install the required libraries:
  python -m pip install -r requirements.txt


RUNNING THE GAME:

On Windows or Mac OS X, locate the "run_game.pyw" file and double-click it.

Othewise open a terminal / console and "cd" to the game directory and run:

  python run_game.py

Please make sure that you not running the game with battery saver turned on.
The game runs slowly with nouveau drivers. Please use it with proprietary NVIDIA drivers.


HOW TO PLAY THE GAME:

WSAD or Arrows controls the boat.
Remember that you can change some difficulty settings.


BUGS:
Game crashes after resizing windows.
Please resize the window on the first screen.

Crossing seas is free software.
Code in gamelib/ folder and artwork in data/ folder are distributed in terms of MIT License.
Sounds and music in music/ folder and various graphics in models/ folder comes with another licenses.
