Independent research exploring cryptographic verification of settlement integrity across heterogeneous distributed ledgers.
Can settlement validity across different distributed ledger systems be verified cryptographically, without relying on bridges, custodians, or trusted intermediaries?
Most current cross-chain mechanisms rely on:
- asset bridges
- wrapped tokens
- oracle systems
- centralized coordination
These approaches introduce additional trust assumptions.
This research explores whether settlement integrity itself can be verified cryptographically across heterogeneous networks.
The investigation focuses on:
- validity proofs
- settlement state verification
- heterogeneous ledger environments
- XRPL / Ethereum style architectures
- off-chain verification models
This repository documents the conceptual research direction only.
Implementation details and core architectures are intentionally not disclosed at this stage.
Research exploration began around November 2025.
