After fixing encountered bugs and testing those changes on a real robot, we've come to the point where the main functionality has been implemented, the app is usable without any major issues (that we know of).

In further versions, as we formulte our engineering paper, we are going to apply some minor refactors or stylistics changes - one ponders the design choices and bad decisions in perspective - reading the whole codebase, in order to write something coherent, forces to face those decisions.
