What:
Refactored the editaquestion section in quiz_system_git/admin.php to eager load answers for all displayed questions in a single (chunked) query instead of querying inside the loop.

Why:
The previous implementation suffered from an N+1 query problem, executing a query for each question to fetch its answers. This significantly slowed down the page load when many questions were present.

Measured Improvement:

  • Baseline: ~0.40 seconds for 1000 questions.
  • Optimized: ~0.08 seconds for 1000 questions.
  • Impact: Approximately 5x speedup in page generation time for large datasets.
  • Verification: Verified that the HTML output is identical to the original implementation.

- Replaced loop-based answer fetching with batch fetching.
- Reduced DB queries from N+1 to 2 (chunks of 500).
- Validated with benchmark showing ~5x performance improvement.
- Verified output correctness.
