I just added GitStory to the Open Source Projects section. I actually built this tool myself to turn standard GitHub contribution graphs into a cinematic, shareable "Year in Review" experience—super excited to share it with the Quantified Self community!

Why add GitStory?

  • Visual Storytelling: It transforms raw contribution data (commits, languages, PRs) into an interactive 11-slide "Instagram Story" format.
  • Productivity Insights: It visualizes coding patterns, identifying "Most Productive Hours" and assigning a Developer Persona (like "The Night Owl" or "The Weekend Warrior").
  • Open Source: Built with Next.js 15 and completely open source. It creates a fun, personal artifact from your coding history without locking the data away.

As the creator, I’m thrilled to help devs see their year in code in a new light. Would love to hear what you think!

Thanks for checking it out! 🙌

Added GitStory to the list of tools in the README.
