In this role me and my team oversee the maintenance and updates to the Marketing Website as well as and additional projects requiring front end dev skills. I have participated in the rebranding of their website, overseen the roll out and testing of making the site responsive along side a redesign (including A/B testing impact of moving traffic from their MDOT site).
I am the senior technical point of contact of the internal SEO team, working with our SEO agency as well as SEO platform vendors. I work closely and cross functionally with a multitude of departments both in Marketing, IT Development and more. I have proactively brought in Vendors of value to Esurance and have overseen their product implementation. I have overseen the scoping and implementation of our custom content management system. I have advocated for and successfully implemented modern web development practices bringing Git, SaSS, Gulp to our workflow.

Grew up in Cape Town, South Africa during a very exciting transition period which I can attribute my zero tolerance of bigotry and racism to. Moved to Dublin, Ireland in 2001 to pursue work and/or College. Worked for an Irish Bank doing tech support before attending Dublin City University to get a BSc. in Multimedia. Met my (future) wife while working in an Irish Pub. We decided to move to America in 2010 (she’s an American ;) and got married. Now the happy father of one energetic 3 year old toddler
I've always liked tech, and was drawn to web design early as it was a fun nexus of code/tech and design. logic and creativity clashing. Now days I'm still enthusiastic about web design, just a little business focused. I'm currently expanding my interests to NLP, Chatbots and AR
