Makes sense to me, but should it be a data type handler or a URL handler?

That's more a design decision: is hyperfy a standard data type specification or a service endpoint?

The endpoint used here is a service endpoint and is likely to change.
If we want this added to totum as opposed to an app it might make more sense to have a formal spec right?
