As discussed, I removed the smoothing from the plot with the Gaia distributions. Instead, I am removing 1% of the outliers such that the bins and axes limits revealing the distributions a bit better.

Note that I changed the 2D contours to 1 and 2 sigma, and the dashed lines in the 1D plots to the more common 1 sigma. Before, it was 3 sigma, but that is sensitive to outliers in the sample, given that a 0.5 deg aperture typically retrieves a few thousand sources.

Also added Python 3.13, which works fine on my end, and removed Python 3.9, since it has become a bit outdated.
