• 🛒 Engineering shipping and payments at WooCommerce

  I spent the past 4.5 years at WooCommerce (Automattic) working on the company's flagship shipping and payments offerings: WooCommerce Shipping and WooPayments, as well as Woo's entire shipping product suite.

  Having gained tons of experience working on shipping in ecommerce, I became one of two founding members of a re-established shipping team, working closely with leadership to establish a new product strategy, leading cross-functional initiatives, and managing key partner communications.

• 🌐 Freelancing

  I worked closely with clients on projects big and small, spanning from WordPress and WooCommerce tweaks to completely custom web apps.

Throughout my entire career I especially gained experience in software architecture and testing, planning and leading projects, designing REST APIs, ensuring web app security, and briefly dipped my toes in team leadership.

I love open source, working on groundbreaking projects, building a great user and developer experience, and making work fun.

• Working on WooCommerce and its shipping and payments plugins
• Contributing to WordPress as a plugin developer and translator
• Working as a webmaster for the GNU project, including improving DevEx by creating Python tools to help maintain the site
