VidCrop is a video cropping tool that helps you easily crop video files. You can manually select any part of the video to crop, with an integrated video player allowing you to preview before and after cropping. Follow these steps to get started.
Visit this page to download: GitHub Releases
- Operating System: macOS 10.14 or later
- RAM: At least 4 GB
- Storage: 200 MB free disk space
- Processor: Intel Core i3, or equivalent
- Click on the download link above to go to the Releases page.
- Choose the latest version of VidCrop.
- Download the file for your operating system (usually labeled as
.dmgfor macOS). - Open the downloaded file to start the installation.
- Drag the VidCrop icon into your Applications folder.
- Launch VidCrop from the Applications folder.
- Open a Video: Start VidCrop and select "Open" to load the video file you wish to crop.
- Select the Crop Area: Use your mouse to draw a rectangle over the area you want to keep. The preview will show you what the final video will look like.
- Preview: Use the integrated video player to review your selection. Make adjustments as needed.
- Crop the Video: Click on the "Crop" button to apply your changes. The software will process the video and save the new file.
- Save Your Work: Choose a destination for the cropped video file and click "Save".
