It has kind of an anti pattern, as the signature is not created over the whole msgPack (version, id, chain, hint, payload, etc) but only over the hash that is contained in the payload. The reason is to remove the user data (temperatures etc.) in the original UPP and only send the hash and the correct signature to Niomon..
