Hi. At first, thanks for sharing your work!
Please find attached a patch to enable queues configuration. It is inspired by your work on extensions, enabling inclusion of files (for example create a queues.d directory and include "queues.d/*.conf").
Please take note that the queues.conf template comes from the Debian package.
