💡 What: Added
sizesattribute to the hero image inpages/index.js.🎯 Why: Without
sizes, Next.js defaults to100vw, causing browsers to download unnecessarily large images (e.g. full desktop width) for a component capped at 640px. This significantly impacts LCP and bandwidth.📊 Impact: drastically reduces image size on desktop (from potentially 1920w+ to 640w), improving load time and LCP.
🔬 Measurement: Verified via Playwright script that the
