💡 What: Optimized images by converting to WebP, resizing, and adding performance attributes.
🎯 Why: The LCP image was a large PNG, and other images were unoptimized JPGs/PNGs causing slow load times and CLS.
📊 Impact:

  • home_img reduced from 792KB to 59KB (-92%).
  • Fried-Rice reduced from 71KB to 18KB.
  • roti_curry reduced from 139KB to 25KB.
🔬 Measurement: Verify file sizes in assets/ and check network tab for WebP content type.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 13627017291045628578 started by @tonymendonca23

- Converted recipe images to WebP and resized to 2x display density.
- Added `width` and `height` attributes to prevent CLS.
- Added `fetchpriority="high"` to LCP image.
- Added `loading="lazy"` to off-screen images.
- Added `object-fit: cover` to hero image to prevent distortion.
