Welcome to the tflow wiki!

Introduction

tflow is a python package to analyze flow fields with focus on turbulence-related quantities. tflow has been developed as a part of the Ph.D. work of Takumi Matsuzawa at the University of Chicago.

The philosophy is simple.

  1. Prepare a 2D/3D velocity field with shape (number of vel. components, width, height, duration) or (number of vel. components, width, height, depth, duration), which I call udata in the codes.

  2. Pass this udata with relevant information such as px spacing (e.g. dx=1.0mm/px) to the velocity module.

  3. Plot your results!

Further details will be posted soon.
