Our goal is to create a beautiful webapp that gives students quick answers to the following questions:
- What classes are offered this semester?
- When will a class be offered again?
- What classes fulfill what GE's?
- What classes can cross-fulfill requirements?
- How many credits can be filled by cross-counted classes?
- How many credits do I have left to fill?
- Beautiful course and major reference
- Schedule builder tool
- Course wishlist/planner
- Easily accessible course database
- Beautiful reference for faculty
- Perk for students
We will of course provide easy to follow instructions for setup on a self-hosted/managed plan. However perhaps we could offer hosted plans like Discourse does.

I (Tim Kendall) literally just started this project and while the frontend is coming along quickly we are still far away from a working beta. Once we hit that point however I'm considering starting an Assembly project for it to attract more help.
These are the next batch of features/tasks that are scheduled to be completed (each should include estimated time to complete).
- gh-pages website (~1 day)
- test server + database (~7 days)
- course conflict resolution (~3 days)
We would love your help! Whatever your skill set is we have a use for you. If you're a developer checkout or development guide, designers can check out our design guide. You don't have to be a designer or developer to help though! Just as importantly, we need you entrepreneurs and marketers to start chatting with universities. Particularly, we are looking at universities that use the WebAdvisor system for registration (though we eventually want our app to work for ALL universities).
