I am concerned because that is making the assumption that the new position of the KSC is still shores biome.

Happy to hear your arguments on that one. Ideally I'd have a routine to find the biome under KSC.

Well, I stole a part of [x] Science! code for my KEI and decided to contribute back solution I found for compatibility with RSS and others :)

The assumption of shores is indeed more fragile given KSC switcher can move KSC around to various sites. RSS is staying shores for the cape but many use switcher to be at places like the Chinese and Russian sites which are inland. RO/RP0 currently zero's out the KSC and landed/splashed science. Its a great idea though. I hope we can find a resolution that works more universally. maybe a MM code that detects RSS/NotSwitcher.
