Because You Matter Too.
In a world that moves fast, people are expected to keep up to listen, process, and respond instantly.
But what happens if you’re deaf, hard of hearing, older, or simply struggling with complex language?
Suddenly, you’re labeled as “different.” Left behind. Invisible.
That’s not just inconvenient it’s heartbreaking.
The Silent Bridge exists to change that.
We built an AI‑powered communication assistant that listens, understands, and transforms speech into accessible formats.
It’s not just about technology it’s about dignity, inclusion, and making sure no one feels excluded because of communication barriers.
- Conversations are fast, complex, and often unstructured.
- Deaf participants cannot follow spoken discussions.
- Non‑native speakers struggle with advanced vocabulary.
- Older adults or those with cognitive challenges may need simplified, structured information.
In classrooms, workplaces, and public services, these barriers mean people are left behind.
Our mission: no one should feel “less” because of communication difficulties.
The Silent Bridge creates a real‑time communication bridge between speech and accessible information formats.
Workflow: Speech Input → Speech-to-Text → AI Processing → Accessible Output
Features:
- ✨ Simplified Mode → turns complex language into clear, easy sentences
- 📌 Bullet Mode → highlights keywords and structures speech into digestible points
- 📝 Summary Mode → extracts the most important ideas
- 🌍 Translation Mode → breaks language barriers instantly
This isn’t just technology. It’s dignity. It’s inclusion. It’s giving people back their voice in the conversation.
We built this with Microsoft Azure to keep it simple, scalable, and hackathon‑ready.
- 🎤 Azure Speech to Text → Captures spoken audio in real time
- 🧠 Azure OpenAI Service → Summarizes, simplifies, highlights keywords, and structures information
- 🌍 Azure AI Translator → Enables multilingual collaboration
This diagram shows the main flow: client captures audio/video, sends it to the backend which uses Azure Speech-to-Text for transcription, then an orchestration layer routes transcripts to Azure OpenAI for summarization/simplification and to the Translator when needed. Results are stored and pushed back to the UI; Azure Bot Service enables integrations (Teams/Zoom). The Sign Language module is an optional component for future expansion.
