@pschillinger I'm forgetting the full history of this PR. IIRC, it related to running multiple instances of FlexBE controlling different robots. I think this change is irrelevant at this point, and would need to be re-worked, but I'm not sure if the issue got resolved by other means or not. I did not want to close without some discussion. |

I've been using this for a while with no apparent issues.
This was originally Philipp's work, but I re-did changes in the latest master branch and tested on my local system.
