Getting Started

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed/setup:

  • Node.js
  • MongoDB

Setup

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/vizionary.git
    cd vizionary
    
  2. Install dependencies

    For both frontend and backend:

    npm install

    or

    npm i
  3. Environment Variables

    Create a .env file in the root directory and add necessary environment variables:

    MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
    PORT=5000
    
    
  4. Run the application

    For both frontend and backend:

    # Start backend server
     npm run dev
    # Start frontend
     npm run start
    
    

The application should now be accessible at http://localhost:3000.
