Iโm a plant genomics researcher driven by curiosity about how small genetic changes can transform the way plants grow and adapt. My work combines quantitative, and population genetics, bioinformatics, and data science to improve crop performance and sustainability. With a strong agronomic background and skills in R, Python, and high performance computing, I connect field data with computational analysis to turn complex datasets into practical solutions for agriculture.
##๐Key Projects #-[Sorghum adaptation to various nitrogen-response]: Exploring genetic variation in sorghum for various nitrogen adaptability during evolution. Integrated genotype (WGS) and phenotype (field/greenhouse) data across 689 genotypes to dissect nitrogen-use traits. Delivered significant candidate genes; produced publication-ready figures and documented code for reuse. #-[Spatial transcriptomics in soybean]: Single-cell genomics: analysed images of cell wall and nuceli to know the sub-cellular localization of important transcripts. #-[Arabidopsis Aluminum Tolerance]: Reverse genetics, mutants, RNA-seq: Linked root traits to genomic regions; validated key candidates via reverse genetics and expression analysis.
