pIcom -- A Python controller for ICOM radios. Currently supports some functionality of the ICOM IC-7100 radio.

REQUIRES:

  • Python3
  • numpy
  • pyserial

FUNCTIONALITY:

  • turn on/off the radio
  • select VFO or Memory
  • select the memory bank (A - E)
  • select the memory channel (1 - 99, and special channels)
  • set the frequency
  • set to Transmit
  • set to Receive
  • read operating frequency
  • read operating mode
