Repository to announce, maintain and debug my book about procedural textures. Open access, CC BY-NC 4.0 licensed.
The PDF is formally published by my employer, Linköping University. You can download and redistribute it for free (as long as you do it without charge), but please give them credit for allowing me to write this as part of my job, by linking directly to the DOI address below when possible:

I'm happy to see the public response and people's interest in the book. The thousands of downloads in the first month were most likely AI scrapes that violate both clauses of the CC license terms (AI language models do not provide attribution and are generally created for profit), but there have been enough (seemingly) real downloads for me to be happy about it. Use the Issues section to comment on the book.
Please respect the license terms. I spent a lot of time writing and illustrating this, and I only ask you to give credit by not editing out my name and the license information from the text. Any non-commercial use is allowed by the license without any additional permission from me, including excerpts, modifications, translations and redistribution, as long as you state the source clearly and include the license information. If you wish to use the book in whole or in part for commercial purposes, contact me. I'm reasonable, but I don't want you to make money on my work without me getting at least some small share of it.
If you find use for the book, please let me know in the "Issues" section. Non-issues are welcome there as well.
I couldn't place a copy of the book on Github, because the file was too large, but here's a Dropbox link in case the DOI repository is down. (It usually isn't.)
